Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out prior to redevelopment on a contaminated site in the Isle Of Dogs. The overall picture was that the area was subject to major environmental changes in respect of its relationship to the River Thames. The information from this site could not be used to infer wider conclusions, but they formed a vital contribution to the research programmes based on localised observations of the relative levels of the littoral clays, sands and gravel.
