Abstract: |
An archaeological monitoring and recording exercise was undertaken during groundwork for a new sub-surface electricity supply for Low Brunton Farm. Natural boulder clay was encountered within the majority of the monitored areas, overlain by deposits of sub-soil. Where boulder clay was not exposed within the limits of investigation, the earliest deposits exposed comprised sub-soils. No features of archaeological significance were encountered during the course of the investigations. [Au(abr)] |
