Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken in response to an application for housing development in Glastonbury. The features revealed by the trench are aligned in such a manner as to suggest they are associated with the burgage plots running off Northload Street, the pottery recovered from them dates to the late 12th and 13th centuries. A large ditch was also revealed it contained Post Medieval pottery and probably represents a boundary or drainage ditch. [Au(abr)] |
