Abstract: |
Thirty trenches were mechanically excavated. Twelve archaeological features were identified, comprising two gullies, two slots and eight post holes. No firm dating evidence was recovered from any feature and it was possible that several different periods were represented. The paucity of archaeological features and significant finds, either in situ or residual, suggested that only a very low level of activity took place on the site in antiquity. [Au(abr)] |
