Abstract: |
From the results of the archaeological investigations it was apparent that an earlier phase of moat walls lay behind the present revetment facade. This earlier moat wall with rounded corners probably dated to the late medieval and Tudor period and therefore could be the original moat wall. [Au(abr)] |
