Abstract: |
The monitoring exercise followed on from an evaluation of the medieval moated site complex. The full extent of a wall identified in the evaluation was uncovered. It became clear that this formed part of a demolished room on the south side of the building that fronted onto the east arm of the moat. Probable garden terraces on the site and other earthwork features relating to the medieval moat were observed. [Au(adp)] |
