Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was made of two sites. Site A was an area of wasteland, while site B was used as a garage sales and repair facility. There was plenty of evidence for human occupation and activity in the area of the two sites, though this was mostly confined to the Roman, medieval and later periods. Taking the evidence as a whole the potential for prehistoric and Saxon occupation and activity was considered low for both sites. For the Roman period the potential was considered low for site A and medium for Site B. For the medieval to post-medieval periods the potential was considered low for site A but medium to high for site B. [Au(abr)] |
