Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks for the construction of a riding school. Cropmarks representing trackways, linear features, enclosures, pits and settlement areas of several different periods had been observed on aerial photographs of the surrounding area. During the watching brief three struck flints, probably dating from the Neolithic or Bronze Age, were recovered, but no archaeological deposits or features were observed. [AIP] |
