Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken to record any significant archaeological deposits uncovered during the excavation of a series of deep foundation trenches for a new house to the south of the existing buildings. No significant archaeological features were recorded, however, a number of Roman potsherds were recovered from a layer of mixed sandy clay which appeared to contain no modern artefacts. [Au(abr)] |
