Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks associated with a residential development within the village of Goldhanger, which had been mentioned in the Domesday Book, implying Saxon origins. A cropmark site in the vicinity of the village was documented to have contained Anglo-Saxon burial mounds. During the watching brief, no archaeological features were identified. [AIP] |
