Abstract: |
Trenches were dug in response to a new school and extension to a nearby school. Extensive late 19th or early 20th century gravel workings were noted in the area of the new school, while the extension works showed a Bronze Age ditch running on a different alignment to the modern roads and fields, suggesting that it may have been part of a pre-existing field system. No other archaeological features were recorded. [Au(abr)] |
