Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during augering for pilings at a development site which lay within the historic core of Andover, a town first recorded in 955 AD. Although excavations on an adjacent site had recorded evidence dating from the Late Iron Age to the medieval period, nothing of archaeological significance was observed during the watching brief.
