Abstract: |
Seventy nine evaluation trenches were excavated across the footprint of the proposed reservoir. Two settlement areas were identified in the northern part and eastern side of the site dating to the Bronze Age/Iron Age period. Four cremations of possible Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age date were identified along the north east extent of the site. A further concentration of Iron Age linear features and two undated post holes were identified. [Au(adp)] |
