Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of the proposed development of two fields. Sixteen trenches were excavated, within which several areas of archaeological interest were identified. In the south-east field a cluster of Neolithic pits were identified. In addition, towards the north of this field, three trenches contained evidence of Iron Age and Romano-British settlement. In the NW field, an area of in-situ Neolithic flint knapping debris was uncovered, preserved underneath what may have been medieval ridge and furrow. To the north of this, a post-medieval 'Suffolk Type' brick kiln was revealed. [Au]
