Abstract: |
Engineering test pits at a proposed development site were monitored in order to assess archaeological survival, and to establish areas to investigate should further evaluation be necessary. A large post-medieval pit containing charcoal, brick and a fragment of pottery was observed. A brick footing, possibly of 18th century date, was also recorded. Potential areas for evaluation were recommended. [AIP] |
