Abstract: |
A desk-based assessement of a site proposed for retail development off Bourne Way identified that a substantial number of sites were known around the proposal area, including early prehistoric findspots, Saxon pottery and medieval kilns. No archaeological sites were recorded within the proposal area, although an earlier evaluation on adjacent land had identified extensive Victorian rubbish dumping. [Au(adp)] |
