Abstract: |
The remains of a Bronze Age flat cemetery were discovered during archaeological recording at the site of a housing development. The remains consisted of a cluster of four burials, with an isolated burial some 30 metres to the east. Most of the remains comprised cremations within urns. Truncation to the north and previous development to the south was likely to have removed evidence of further burials. The pottery recovered included an almost complete example of a small horseshoe-handled biconical urn, a large Trevisker urn and a probable collared urn. [Au(abr)] |
