Abstract: |
Three main areas of archaeological interest were located in the 273ha site. The first was a Roman site including upstanding earthworks, a portion of the monument had suffered considerable disturbance. The second area, also a Roman site, was in evidence as cropmarks. The third site was a probable prehistoric burial.\n |
