Abstract: |
A watching brief was held over works at Old Windsor Parish Church. No archaeological features of any significance (ie medieval or earlier) were encountered and only a single sherd of redeposited Roman pottery was recovered. A grave cut and some disarticulated human remains were found, but generally, the findings of earlier work on other parts of the same site were confirmed. There was a low level of archaeological activity in the vicinity, and no damage was caused to any archaeology by the current groundworks. [Au(adp)] |
