Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out on land to the rear of 1-3 New Cottage, Barton Stacey. Finds recovered from topsoil stripping were all post medieval in date. These finds supported the view that the site was an allotment prior to development. No archaeological finds or features were identified intruding into the natural chalk within the footings for the trenches. [Au(abr)] |
