Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during phases 2 and 3 of topsoil stripping in advance of mineral extraction. Two sections of modern drainage piping were identified running across the stripped area comprising. Although peaty deposits were also found to exist, their lack of depth, dessication and disrupted internal stratigraphy made them of low palaeoenvironmental potential. [AIP] |
