Abstract: |
<summary>The results of the evaluation indicate that whilst archaeological remains exist on the proposed route, no sites have been identified which are so significant as to necessitate any alteration to the route. All were landscape features of medieval or post-medieval date. A number of general recommendations are made, including a watching brief during machine-stripping of the topsoil, recording of sections exposed through boundaries and trackways, and investigation prior to stripping of a circular mound. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
