Abstract: |
A total of 41 trial trenches were mechanically excavated to a cumulative length of 1025m, providing a c.4% sample of the site. Two undated gullies were discovered in addition to a WWII concrete emplacement. An assemblage of 58 struck flints was recovered from the overburden of the trenches, comprising Mesolithic, Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age and later prehistoric material. [Au] |
