Abstract: |
<summary2>A programme of geoarchaeological research was undertaken in the Dour Valley in order to produce an assessment of the environmental archaeological potential. It was believed that the results of this work could be used strategically in areas such as planning input, cultural resource management and education. The survey consisted of 90 bore holes and several trenches, and detailed surveys were undertaken at Crabble Mill, Russell Street, Dover and Buckland Churchyard. The results demonstrated that the area was of great significance and had very high potential for analysis. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
