Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief during groundworks for the construction of a new storage building identified heavy disturbance by earlier modern buildings, drains and dumping. Two ditch features were revealed, one of which contained Roman pottery at a depth of 0.6 metres from the surface. It was not possible to determine if the pottery provided a date for the ditch, or represented residual material derived from ploughsoil. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
