Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a residential development. Two flint spearheads had been found in the vicinity, and the projected course of Grim's Dyke, an iron age or early medieval monument, passed within 1km. Two medieval settlements had been sited nearby. During the evaluation, pottery dating from the 17th-19th centuries was recovered. [AIP] |
