Abstract:
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of foundation trenches for a housing development, at a site which lay to the south of a 12th century church which may have acted as a focus for early settlement in Whatcote. No significant archaeological deposits were observed, and only modern pottery and glass were recovered. [Au(abr)]
