Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in advance of residential development. The study area lay in the southern side of Bristol City. Several buildings were known to have occupied the area since the 19th century, before this it was thought to have been open pasture. Part of one of the old buildings was located during the watching brief, nothing else of significance was uncovered. The development did not present any threat to archaeological deposits within the study area. [Au(abr)] |
