Abstract:
An assessment of the proposed site of a supermarket and petrol-filling station was carried out. Several sites and find-spots had previously been recorded in the surrounding area. A proportion of the site had never been developed, and it was concluded that a generally high survival of original landscape and soil deposits could be expected. It was recommended that trial pits should be excavated.[AIP]
