Abstract: |
A desk-top assessment of the proposed site of a new office block was undertaken. A small number of prehistoric finds had been recorded in the surrounding area, and Roman burials and associated objects had been found. Medieval settlement had occurred in the vicinity, and the site itself had been built on since at least 1676. It was concluded that an evaluation would be necessary. [AIP] |
