Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief, undertaken in response to a condition upon planning permission, was undertaken during the excavation of test pits and the construction of foundations for the residential development of the site. A series of debris deposits, probably associated with the construction of the 19th century buildings were revealed. The only finds consisted of a waste flint, a bone and some post-medieval pottery and brick. A cut feature probably represented undated gravel extraction. [Au(adp)] |
