Abstract: |
Monitoring of the excavation revealed a sequence of archaeological deposits which comprised of one probable boundary ditch and two brick built structures with associated demolition debris underlying track surfaces and the modern topsoil. A small assemblage of artefacts was recovered during the progress of the watching brief and included examples of 17th century pantile, 15/16th century bricks and ceramic brick material fragments dating between the 16th and 17th centuries.
