Abstract: |
The evaluation succeeded in locating a small section of Hadrian's Wall, however due to the large number of pits dug for clay with which to make bricks, and later disturbances, it was suggested that the chances of survival of substantial remains of Hadrian's Wall along the yard were unlikely. It was recommended that a watching-brief be held during the reduction of the yard levels. [AIP] |
