Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the widening of a ditch, and work carried out previously in two other areas of the site was examined for traces of archaeological deposits. Only natural sediments and modern material were seen at the site, with the exception of an undated feature, revealed during the ditch-widening. This contained no archaeological material, and it was not possible to ascertain whether it was a natural channel or a man-made feature. If the latter were the case, the feature was probably a drainage ditch. [AIP] |
