Abstract: |
An archaeological study, using several techniques, identified that the area contained two main significant archaeological elements. Firstly, a Bronze Age barrow cemetery with additional Romano-British burials; and secondly, the field and enclosure patterns reflected the medieval common field agricultural systems. Aerial photography and geophysical survey indicated that there existed a large quantity of uncharacterised sub-surface features. [Au(abr)] |
