Abstract: |
The archaeological investigations on the site of the proposed housing estate revealed that the extent of the cropmarks discovered in the late 1970s was a lot more extensive than first thought. Through geophysical and excavation investigations features were located which were part of a Roman villa. Medieval ridge and furrow was found to cover the site. [AIP] |
