Archaeological observations were made during initial groundwork and the excavation of service trenches for a new detached dwelling on the eastern side of Crossmoor Road on the south side of the town of Axbridge. A small amount of Romano-British pottery was recovered during the excavations although no distinct archaeological features were definable. [Au]
