Abstract: |
The excavation along the route of the water main discovered a series of archaeological remains. These included a medieval pit, an undated gully and a pit containing a sherd of Roman pottery, which may have been residual. Remains of a limestone wall, possibly associated with South Kyme Augustinian Priory was also located. [Au] |
