Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundwork for a development. The work revealed a general scatter of post-medieval finds. Small abraded stones including pieces of flint were encountered which could have suggested that the site lay close to underlying gravel terraces. It was therefore suggested that should any deeper excavating on the site have been required, it should be observed. [Au(adp)] |
