Abstract: |
The excavations revealed evidence to show that the area of the new extension had been landscaped in the recent past. It was likely that this landscaping, which may have been associated with the construction of an additional wing in the original 16th century farmhouse in 1910, had removed any possible archaeological features or deposits associated with the earlier buildings.
