Abstract: |
Two evaluation trenches were excavated in the car park to the rear of the Rex Cinema building. The car park had clearly been terraced into the slope, truncating any archaeological deposits. The only feature recorded was a deep cut pit or soakaway. The fill of this pit contained roof tile of medieval or later date. [Au(abr)] |
