Abstract: |
The archaeological potential of the site involves two elements. The upstanding mill buildings, particularly the Nova Scotia Mill, and the possible below ground deposits that represent the houses and other social buildings that supported the people who worked in the mills. It is proposed that the Nova Scotia Mill building would be subject to a building recording exercise. During demolition, it is proposed to provide a limited archaeological watching brief. [Au(adp)] |
