Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment and evaluation were carried out on the proposed site. The assessment identified that the site had high potential for medieval archaeology but the archaeology may have been impacted upon by terracing of the site. The evaluation trenches targeted areas not affected by terracing and identified: a medieval cobbled suface, a post hole and a re-cut boundary ditch. All finds recovered dated to the 10th-12th centuries. [Au(abr)] |
