Abstract: |
Evaluation prior to mineral extraction revealed a rich range of archaeological features. Earliest were the remains of two ring-ditches from the Bronze Age, whilst a system of Iron Age boundaries, including a pit alignment and double ditched bank, was also found. The remains of at least one early Anglo-Saxon building were also identified. [AIP] |
