Abstract: |
The desk based assessment identified that the site at Fishtoft was one of moderate archaeological potential. The fundamental conclusion reached was that the archaeological potential was low for the prehistoric and Romano-British periods, but was clearly higher for the late Saxon/medieval periods. The evidence was based almost entirely on the results of fieldwalking exercises. No crop marks or soil stains were identified on the site. [Au] |
