Abstract: |
The assessment identified that the site was known to contain the line of a 17th century river wall together with the site of a windmill in existence by 1701 and burnt down in 1884. A small shipyard was located on the centre west of the site between c.1805 and c. 1830. Subsequently the site was used for industrial and housing purposes until the middle of the 20th century. Past post-depositional impacts were characterised as severe but localised. [Au(abr)] |
