Abstract: |
Welton-le-Marsh was situated in an area of considerable archaeological activity, dating from the Early Bronze Age. During the watching brief, a medieval ditch and buried soil layer were revealed, but few artefacts were recovered. This perhaps indicated that the site lay outside of the main occupation area of the village during the medieval period. [Au(abr)] |
