Abstract: |
Evidence for intensive occupation of the Bewell Street area during the 13th century was revealed. Possible structures and rubbish pits were excavated, though in the small areas sampled earlier deposits did not survive. Two possible surfaces were also identified, but dating evidence was not recovered from them. [Au(abr)] |
