Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site. Flint artefacts, bronze age finds and iron age settlement evidence had been recorded in the surrounding area. A Roman road, artefacts and a burial had also been found, and medieval occupation had been documented. During the evaluation, a late 18th century land drain and a 19th century drain were revealed, and finds dating from the 18th-20th centuries were recovered. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary. [AIP] |
