Abstract: |
The assessment concluded that the site contained a number of minor archaeological sites, all post-medieval and most essentially associated with agricultural improvement. The possibility of earlier activity and thus the potential for earlier remains within the study area was from inference to the surrounding area only. Little documentary evidence existed for Morgan's Pill and the activities carried out there and indeed the study area as a whole. Most of the information available applied to the nearby settlement and harbour of Crockerne Pill. [Au(adp)] |
